Jan 20th 2010 The fishing the last few days has been a little bit challenging. The main reason is due to the 4 month closure of grouper & red snapper. We have been doing very well catching limits of amber jack. The king fish have also been very cooperative earl in the month. That being said, the past few days the kings have not been around do to the water temperature being so cold. However today we caught 4 kings and I expect the action will be fast and furious as the water warms back up. We can also expect some good cobia fishing off of the warm edge where that cold water meets it. If you are looking for some especially tasty fish to take home we have been doing very well using light tackle to catch trigger fish & sea bass. These fish are usually less than 3lbs but as far as table fair they are unmatched.

Friday, February 5th, 2010December 6th 2009 Fishing is absolutely as good as it gets right NOW! Slow trolling for kings is providing unstoppable action with allot of big fish. We are catching numerous cobia while slow trolling. Sailfish and mahi are also in the mix. Bottom fishing for snapper, amber jack & grouper is also on fire. The time to fish is now because patience is not required. It is like fishing in a barrell.
